RICS HOME SURVEY (LEVEL 1)
This is the most basic form of survey and its aim is to provide commentary on the current condition of the existing elements that form a property, internally & externally. Please note that this type of report will not advise on how to resolve any issues discovered or the next steps towards dealing with any defects. Here at Five BC we would recommend that this type of survey is only reserved for when you are buying a new build property. £275.00 for 1-5 bedroom homes. POA for larger properties.
RICS HOME SURVEY (LEVEL 2) – HOMEBUYERS SURVEY
This is the most popular and well known type of report for when you are buying a property. The report gives you information on your potential purchase, including any areas of concern; any defects; what’s required to address any such issues and suggest on-going maintenance requirements. The report also helps identify any concerns that may need to be raised with your solicitor prior to completing on your purchase. £375.00 for 1-5 bedroom homes. POA for larger properties.
RICS HOME SURVEY (LEVEL 3) – FULL BUILDING SURVEY
This is the most comprehensive type of survey offered. This type of report is for those properties that have had significant alterations throughout its lifetime, older or unusual properties and those that need major renovation works to bring them up to modern liveable standard. With this report, advice will be provided on defects; Simple testing will be undertaken e.g. checking operation of taps; advice on lifespan of elements and further investigations along with remediation advice and any maintenance requirements. Prices start from £550.00

SNAGGING SURVEYS FOR NEW BUILD PROPERTIES
Five Building Consultancy can undertake a through snagging survey if you are buying a new build property. At Five BC we want to take the stress out of purchasing a new build scheme and agreeing the final snagging details with your builder. The report will include a list of issues on room by room basis along with supporting photographs that you will be able to present to your builder to resolve. Price for Snagging Survey only £225.00 for 1-5 bedroom homes. Please ask for further details if you would like us to manage the resolution of the snags with your builder.
MEASURED BUILDING SURVEY
Five Building Consultancy can visit your property and undertake a full measured survey of the property to enable full plans to be drawn up for future works etc. Price to agreed dependent upon size of the property
